Redraft Take: The Commanders will be a better offfense in 2022 under Carson Wentz. No matter how you feel about Wentz, you have to agree he’s an upgrade over Taylor Heinicke. This could boost Terry McLaurin’s numbers, who will likely end up a solid WR2 and is worth his ADP. After that, I’m not sure what I want in this offense, as rumors of a RBBC are being thrown about. Antonio Gibson now costs a 4th or 5th round pick and will lose passing down work to JD McKissic and will now have to rookie Brian Robinson nipping at his heels for carries. I’m cool with McKissic in best ball I guess. I’m not banking on Curtis Samuel, Jahan Dotson or Logan Thomas being much this year. Thomas is interesting if he’s ready to roll week 1, but I’m just nervous about taking an older player recovering from a major injury. Wentz is a QB2 in Superflex, nothing more.
