* Note *
I think it is extremely important to make claims early in the season. It is also important to save money for the playoff stretch as well, so spend wisely. Waiver wires are different for everyone, so it’s difficult to make suggestions in regards to how much to spend on a given player or how to rank them in a standard waiver wire. Please use your best judgement when making your claims, as you know your league-mates best and how they tend to spend or operate. I’m ranking them by position, with the best adds at the top of each list.

Week 7 BYEs: Browns, Steelers, Buccaneers, Panthers
* Should Be Owned * Superflex Leagues * Matthew Stafford, Josh Allen, Andy Dalton, Jacoby Brissett, Gardner Minshew, Kirk Cousins, Daniel Jones, Joe Flacco, Marcus Mariota, Mason Rudolph
Sam Darnold: May have been dropped during his illness. He faces NE and @JAX next, but the schedule opens up nicely after that with @MIA, NYG, @WAS, OAK, @CIN, MIA.
Josh Allen: Returns from BYE and has a juicy schedule coming up; MIA, PHI, WAS, @CLE, @MIA.
Teddy Bridgewater: We might only get Teddy for 2 more games. He plays @CHI this weekend, so maybe we don’t use him there. But Arizona at Home week 8 for the BYE in week 9.
Kyle Allen: Is on BYE this week, but the Panthers are 4-0 with him and just might keep him out there even if Newton is good to go. He’s worth a stash/hold for now.
Ryan Tannehill: Replaced Mariota last weekend. Unsure of what to expect going forward, but could be worth a pre-emptive pickup.
Ryan Fitzpatrick: Replace Josh Rosen last week. Similar to Tannehill, we are unsure of what the Dolphins want to do, but Fitzpatrick looked good in relief.
Drew Brees: Due diligence, see if he’s available.
Stashes: Dwayne Haskins, Taysom Hill, Nick Foles
* Should Be Owned * PPR * Tevin Coleman, Devin Singletary, Chris Thompson, Frank Gore, Ronald Jones, Carlos Hyde, Kenyan Drake, Jordan Howard, Darrel Williams Chase Edmonds, Peyton Barber, Duke Johnson, Miles Sanders, Rashaad Penny, Adrian Peterson
Chase Edmonds: High priority. Might be owned already, but he has a role even if David Johnson is healthy.
Carlos Hyde: Due diligence. Likely owned already, but target aggressively if he’s hanging around.
Malcolm Brown: Remains the go to guy if Gurley misses more time.
Mark Walton: Rushed 6 times for 32 yards and added 5 receptions for 43yds. Has low end PPR RB2/Flex upside going forward.
Bennie Snell: Rushed 17 times for 75 yards and added 1 reception for 14 yards. He gets to be the backup to Conner while Jaylen Samuels is out, but Conner got dinged up against the Chargers and allowed for Snell to get some run. Priority handcuff.
Alexander Mattison: Continues to look great as the backup to Cook. Rushed 14 times for 63 yards against the solid Eagles front. Priority handcuff.
Nyheim Hines: Was on BYE last week. Has low end RB2/Flex value in PPR leagues.
Duke Johnson: Might have been dropped. Worth a bench spot in PPR leagues. Continues to play well on limited touches, but finally scored a TD last week.
Jamaal Williams: Rushed for over 100yds and caught 1TD last week. Has low end RB2/Flex value going forward.
Brandon Bolden: Rushed 3 times for 23 yards with 1 TD and added 2 receptions for 22 yards. Only has value if Rex Burkhead continues to miss time.
Handcuff Stashes: In no particular order
Kareem Hunt, Raheem Mostert, Tony Pollard, Gus Edwards, Dion Lewis, Ty Montgomery, Ito Smith, Ty Johnson, Jordan Wilkins, Darwin Thompson, Reggie Bonnafon, Latavius Murray, Ryquell Armstead, TJ Yeldon
* Should Be Owned * Michael Gallup, Dede Westbrook, DK Metcalf, Marquise Brown, Terry McLaurin, Mecole Hardman, Demarcus Robinson, Nelson Agholor, Corey Davis, Geronimo Allison, Preston Williams, Phillip Dorsett, Auden Tate, Diontae Johnson, Mohamed Sanu
Robby Anderson: Likely owned, make sure he’s not available.
Allen Lazard: Will likely start this Sunday against Oakland. Allison will be in concussion protocal this week and Adams will likely sit again. Either way, Lazard showed enough on MNF to get more snaps going forward.
Jamison Crowder: May have been dropped. Caught 6 of 9 targets for 98 yards with Sam Darnold back in the saddle. High priority in PPR leagues.
Auden Tate: May be owned already, but if not, it’s time. Caught 5 of 12 targets for 91 yards against Baltimore. He has now scored 12.8, 9, 11.6 and 14.1 points in PPR leagues the last four weeks and has seen 34 targets in this span.
Jaron Brown: Caught 3 of 5 targets for 29 yards and 2TDs. Remains a low volume option, but with Russell Wilson playing the way he is, Brown could continue to score TDs.
Duke Williams: Started over Zay Jones back in Week 5 and caught the game winning TD. Should be expected to continue to start and give Josh Allen a big red zone target.
Dante Pettis: Caught 3 of 6 targets for 45 yards. This may be the last week to snag Pettis before a blow up happens.
Tavon Austin: Caught 5 of 6 targets for 64 yards. He saw more action because Amari Cooper left early with a quad injury. If Cooper misses Week 7 vs Philly, Austin can be a flex option.
Jakobi Meyers: Caught all 4 of his targets for 54 yards. We have to monitor the injuries to Josh Gordon and Phillip Dorsett this week. If one or both continue to miss time, Meyers has WR3/Flex value.
Demaryius Thomas: Caught 4 of 5 targets for 62 yards. Has now stacked together two solid weeks in a row, catching 4 of 9 targets for 47 yards back in Week 5 from Luke Falk. With Darnold back, this Jets offense has some life in it for fantasy.
Guys to Monitor: AJ Brown, Byron Pringle, Darius Slayton, David Moore, Anthony Miller, Willie Snead, Trevor Davis
* Should Be Owned * Jared Cook, Jason Witten, Will Dissly, Jack Doyle (PPR)
Hunter Henry: Due diligence, make sure he’s not available in your league. High priority if he is on waivers.
Ricky Seals-Jones: Caught 3 of 6 targets for 47 yards and 1TD. He’s on BYE this weekend, so he’s more of a guy to monitor if you need TE help.
Darren Fells: Caught 6 of 7 targets for 69 yards. Seems to be the safest and most consistent TE target for Watson. Can be used as your TE streamer.
Dallas Goedert: Caught 5 of 8 targets for 48 yards. For comparison, Zach Ertz caught 4 of 9 targets for 54 yards. Goedert remains behind Ertz in the pecking order, but this is game that should catch our attention. He has a good chance at a red zone TD every week and could be streamed as your TE1. Massive upside if Ertz misses time, so he can be viewed as a TE handcuff with upside.
Stash: Robert Tonyan, Irv Smith Jr, Hayden Hurst, Cameron Brate, Geoff Swaim?
